In response, more and more research studies and design projects started gathering evidence relevant to the digital patient experience. Read the stories of the evaluation studies we've been involved in or that inspired us while creating this guide. Some may seem remarkably similar to your design projects and may provide inspiration for your design evaluation.

Design Evaluation
Innovators face significant challenges to overcome the “no evidence, no implementation—no implementation, no evidence” paradox in digital health. By learning from the existing digital health evaluation cases, designers can better anticipate what will happen in their projects. In this section, we provide you with two digital health evaluation cases: one is evaluating high-tech digital solutions in a clinical setting, and another is evaluating low-tech digital solutions in a home setting, to help you consider what materials you need to prepare prior to the evaluation. After this section, you are expected to generate your own evaluation checklist to prepare your evaluation work.
