CONCEPT
What is Digital Patient Experience (PEx)?
Digital patient experience is the sum of all interactions, affected by a patient’s behavioral determinants, framed by digital technologies, and shaped by organizational culture, that influence patient perceptions across the continuum of care channeling digital health.
For example, some patients may perceive a digital health solution that provides regular contact with health care providers as increasing their sense of reassurance, while others may experience it as a burden to their daily lives.
